India is the third most obese country in the world and at the rate it is growing, it becomes pertinent to take a serious note of the situation before it goes out of control. When one thinks of Bariatric surgery in Punjab India, then an individual explores all the possible options beforehand to reduce his/her weight.

Bariatric or weight loss surgery, as it is popularly called, despite improving the quality of a patient’s life brings with it a lot of myths. Some patients are not even confident to discuss the misconceptions which they have with limited information with their doctor. Myth: People who undergo bariatric surgery regain weight later

Myth: Surgery is an easy way out, little exercise and good diet will work too.
